Woodwork
At Boaz, we’re proud to have two well-equipped workshops, where members can learn and develop woodwork skills. Our skilled instructors provide guidance on using tools safely to make beautiful items like bird boxes and trugs. We also encourage members to bring their own ideas, making special items for their friends and family.

We create useful and unique items for the garden, like bird boxes, trugs and planters that can be filled with herbs or bulbs. Most of our creations are made from kits we prepare in-house using recycled timber. Members are involved in every stage of the process from drilling to nailing together and painting. Our handcrafted creations make great gifts.
We’re also happy to take on bespoke projects to suit your exact needs. For instance, we recently crafted a beautiful cutlery holder for Meadow, a cafe-art gallery in Stockbridge.

Our recently refurbished machine workshop is well-equipped with saws, drills and power tools. This is where we cut up recycled timber and prepare kits so members can build their own bird boxes and trugs in our carpentry workshop, a separate room. The equipment also comes in handy for maintenance jobs around the farm.
