Do you have an individual who you think would enjoy being involved in The Boaz Project?
The following information is the process of commissioning a member.
Referral: An enquiry is made by a service user, carer or social worker
Visit: An appointment is made to visit us at the farm and discuss the provision
Taster day: A half a day visit is organised if funding is available so that the member can experience what a day at Boaz is like. No charge is made for this day.
Assessment: An assessment is made by the Team at Boaz and all concerned to assess whether the project is a good fit for the individual.
Review: If it is decided that the individual would be a good fit for the project the individual is on a 4-week trial where the placement is reviewed each week.
Funding needs to be sorted to cover any attendance between the trial and the formal start of any commissioning. This could be from private funds or through Boaz’s bursary. Boaz is prepared to start an individual straight away if their individual service contact will be backdated to when the placement starts.
