Arts & Crafts
People get a chance to discover and develop their artistic side in therapeutic arts and crafts sessions. With expert help from Rachel, our friendly head of craft, members can try new projects like wool-carding (from our own sheep) and fabric painting (cushion covers) or just stick to whatever they feel comfortable whether it’s colouring in pictures or completing word squares.
Our craft room is stocked full of beautiful materials and useful equipment. Rachel uses her creative skills to provide kits to suit a wide range of abilities and interests – everything from Harry Potter to Saints Football Club. Members also work on their own projects., Some of our handmade cards and craft items are available for sale in our display cabinet on site. Any profit is ploughed back into running the charity.
