If you or someone you know is finishing education this summer and is wondering what comes next, join us for the LD Fair on May 26th, 2026. Drop in any time from 10 AM to 2 PM.
This event is FREE but ticketed to ensure you have a parking space – scroll down and book a slot please.
This event is designed to help those with learning disabilities explore the opportunities, resources, and support available for their next chapter.
What to Expect
The LD Fair will feature organisations and services offering guidance, opportunities, and activities to help individuals transition smoothly from education into the next phase of life.
You’ll be able to connect with:
Active LD: The home of Winchester’s Personal Bests – all things active and LD
Blue Apple: offer creative arts experiences for individuals with learning disabilities, including acting, dancing, singing, and film performances, both on stage and at festivals.
Boaz Project – offering work-based opportunities in horticulture, agriculture, cooking, crafts, woodwork, and caring for chickens and donkeys, all within a Christian ethos.
Loddon Enterprises: providing adult day care services in Basingstoke since 1976
Peter Symonds: offer small, supportive classes for students with learning disabilities to improve maths, English, and computing skills at their own pace, with activities like Book and Film Club, Computer Club, Enterprise, and Number Fun.
The Cafe Project: empowering individuals with learning disabilities in a cafe context
Winchester Go LD: offer adults with learning disabilities to build confidence, creativity, and learning through regular sessions, including tai chi, boxing, and fitness classes.
This event is for LD students leaving education, for example, Sparsholt College and Osborne College, but also for anyone who is looking for a day support service where adults with learning disabilities are supported to participate in a range of activities.
Event Highlights
Donkey Walk: Join us for a special Donkey Walk around the venue at around 1pm—sure to be a fun experience for everyone!
Lunch: We’ll be serving up some tasty sausages and rolls, so you can enjoy a bite while exploring the fair and chatting with our exhibitors.
