Care Home Residents Raise nearly £6000 for The Boaz Project

We’re incredibly grateful to the residents and staff at Abbotts Barton and St Catherines View, two Colten Care homes in Winchester, who have raised an amazing £5,906.60 for Boaz over the past year.
The homes kindly chose Boaz as their joint charity, and their support has meant a huge amount to us. Fundraising efforts included a fete at St Peter’s Primary School in Stanmore, with stalls selling everything from crocheted gifts – handmade by residents and staff – to fresh eggs, jams, and wooden crafts from the Boaz team.
At the cheque presentation, Grace Grey, a resident at Abbotts Barton, said, “We’re really pleased to have supported Boaz – as residents, we were more than happy to get involved and choose a local charity.”
We’re hoping to put the money towards some much-needed kitchen renovations at the project, and we just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who contributed – residents, families, staff, and everyone who came along to support the events. You’ve made a real difference.
