Boaz Showgarden at BBC Gardeners’ World Spring Fair
Boaz Project showcased a vibrant showgarden at the BBC Gardeners’ World Spring Fair in Beaulieu. Visitors enjoyed colorful spring blooms, knitted chickens, and woodcraft by Boaz members, celebrating the project’s work and creativity.
Andy, head of horticulture, said: “We were asked to design and build a showgarden that tells the story of Boaz and what we do here. It will be great publicity for the project.”
At its heart there was be a colourful display of spring-flowering plants. There will also be a flock of knitted chickens (easier to arrange in a garden then the real thing) and wood craft items made by our members, such as bat and bird boxes.
Thousands of people attended the event. Organisers say it’s the perfect spring day out with family and friends in a truly beautiful setting.
