Boaz current charges:

Transport to and from the project is the responsibility of the individual members – some use Dial-a-Ride or other community transport.

Boaz can be funded through the Independent Living fund, Direct Payments, a Care Manager/Adult Services or privately. We may sometimes be able to help with a sponsor.

How to find Boaz:

Boaz is situated in an idyllic setting on Hill Farm along the A272, off the A30. When driving to us, please ensure you approach the project using the drive clearly marked 'The Boaz Project'

As a charity Boaz is non-profit making and relies on the generosity of our supporters.

YOU CAN HELP…

SPONSORSHIP: Most of our members are unable to work due to the nature of their disabilities and will be surviving on Income Support and/or disability living allowance. After rent and other everyday expenses are deducted there is not much left. Some are supported by Adult Services …others do not qualify. You could help by sponsoring an individual for half a day a week from as little as £22. A whole day at Boaz is £44.

DONATIONS: There is always a list of things we need to spend money on, either to improve facilities or to add different activities. ANY donation you make will be very gratefully received and we would love you to visit to see how it is spent. If you pay tax we could get even more simply by gift-aiding it. GIFT AID: Completing and returning our Gift Aid form allows Boaz project to claim tax relief on donations made. To qualify for Gift Aid you need to pay enough UK income tax and/or capital gains tax to cover the amount of tax Boaz Project will claim from your donation. FUNDRAISING: Last year the sister of one of our members did the Great South Run to raise money for us and a local group have held quiz nights. Two of our volunteers sell hand made greeting cards and we have regular charity stalls. Perhaps you could help in this way. If you would like to run a fund raising event please contact Margaret, our volunteer fundraiser, on 01264 394496 .

VOLUNTEERS: We often need people to give whatever time they can to assist our adults to achieve their potential. This could be helping them in the greenhouse, or working in the field; helping with animals or assisting with craft work or cooking. Our volunteers are highly valued and have lots of input into the development of the project. They also have fun and always leave feeling good about having spent time at Boaz.
