Activities

Our Field | Greenhouse | Chickens | Cooking | Donkeys | Woodwork | Crafts | Makaton

Woodwork

There are many things we have to do around the project to keep it in a good state of repair and this gives people the opportunity to learn how to use various tools.
We make our chickens’ nesting boxes as well as things like bird tables and bat boxes. We also mend things for other people. Sometimes we have to mix concrete and do heavy work like helping to erect the log cabin or cement in fence posts. We also learn to use the rotorvator to dig the field.

Work Experience Opportunities

Boaz can facilitate work towards the Duke Of Edinburgh Award, and can sometimes arrange work experience for secondary school students.
