Boaz current charges:

Transport to and from the project is the responsibility of the individual members – some use Dial-a-Ride or other community transport.

Boaz can be funded through the Independent Living fund, Direct Payments, a Care Manager/Adult Services or privately. We may sometimes be able to help with a sponsor.

How to find Boaz:

Boaz is situated in an idyllic setting on Hill Farm along the A272, off the A30. When driving to us, please ensure you approach the project using the drive clearly marked 'The Boaz Project'

Makaton

Some people who come to Boaz have difficulties with spoken and written communication. We all spend some time each week learning ‘Makaton’ vocabulary which involves manual signs and gestures as well as graphic symbols in order that we might better understand each other.

Work Experience Opportunities

Boaz can facilitate work towards the Duke Of Edinburgh Award, and can sometimes arrange work experience for secondary school students.
