Boaz current charges:

Transport to and from the project is the responsibility of the individual members – some use Dial-a-Ride or other community transport.

Boaz can be funded through the Independent Living fund, Direct Payments, a Care Manager/Adult Services or privately. We may sometimes be able to help with a sponsor.

How to find Boaz:

Boaz is situated in an idyllic setting on Hill Farm along the A272, off the A30. When driving to us, please ensure you approach the project using the drive clearly marked 'The Boaz Project'

Our Greenhouse

Our greenhouse is very important to us because this is where we sow our seeds and plugs and prepare all our flowers for the hanging baskets and containers. We grow all our vegetables from seed as well, and many begin life in the greenhouse. We have to keep the greenhouse at the right temperature and all the plants need to be regularly watered. We also take cuttings and carefully grow these on to make more plants. In the autumn we plant lots of bulbs some of which we sell at Christmas.

Work Experience Opportunities

Boaz can facilitate work towards the Duke Of Edinburgh Award, and can sometimes arrange work experience for secondary school students.
