Our Field

There is always lots to do in the field and with polytunnels it doesn’t matter about the weather. We grow fruit to sell and to make into jam, and vegetables which we learn how to cook and take some to market. We also make chutney with some of our produce.

We have a rotorvator to help with the digging but for the weeding we use our hands!! Some of the vegetables we grow are in the photos below. These include tomatoes, runner beans, peppers, courgettes, butternut squash, pumpkins, marrows and chillies.

Another part of our field is used to graze donkeys and is home to lots of voles, field mice, rabbits, frogs and moles.

Work Experience Opportunities

Boaz can facilitate work towards the Duke Of Edinburgh Award, and can sometimes arrange work experience for secondary school students.
