Boaz current charges:

Transport to and from the project is the responsibility of the individual members – some use Dial-a-Ride or other community transport.

Boaz can be funded through the Independent Living fund, Direct Payments, a Care Manager/Adult Services or privately. We may sometimes be able to help with a sponsor.

How to find Boaz:

Boaz is situated in an idyllic setting on Hill Farm along the A272, off the A30. When driving to us, please ensure you approach the project using the drive clearly marked 'The Boaz Project'

Chickens

We have a hundred chickens that need to be fed and watered and given clean bedding regularly. They, in return, lay lots of eggs which need to be collected, boxed and labelled.
The chickens are ‘free range’ which means they are free to run around and scratch for bugs, have dust baths and generally enjoy life! At the end of the day they go into a warm shed where they are safe from foxes.

Work Experience Opportunities

Boaz can facilitate work towards the Duke Of Edinburgh Award, and can sometimes arrange work experience for secondary school students.
